The regiment was kept on the Swedish books, and was active in the defence of Swedish Finland, till 1710 when it was lost during the capture of Viborg by the Russians.<br>Next to these there was also an Ingermanland Dragoon regiment, set up at the same time, and who roughly have the same history as the infantry. Part of the regiment escaped from Viborg, these were distributed to bolster other infantry and cavalry regiments.<br>kgpm.desmedtnoreply@blogger.com
