How do you organize your paints?

My paint bottles are usually kept in boxes. I try to organize them by color (all the reds go together, all the blues, etc.), but I still have trouble finding a specific colour when I need it.

So, I was pleasantly surprised to find this product:

A must-have paint organizer rack for the discerning wargamer!!!

  1. My current paint storage is two simple wooden containers:

They were chosen because they fit the shelves of the shelving units that supports one side of my painting table.
Though I must admit that I've also been eyeing the miniaturicum.de paint holders :).

  2. I got a painting rack (the biggest one, of course) - it arrived this weekend from miniaturicum!
The final setup does look less nice than in the pictures though. My collection of paint bottles is not a neat collection, but rather a hodge-podge of different brands and styles. My oldest pots go back 20 years, old Citadel paints, and they're still usable!

  3. Can you post a picture please Phil? Maybe one of your own workspace too. I also digged up my paints and am trying to get organised again but before I can start I need to buy some essentials like good brushes, glue, putty etc...
