Grenadier Music Band (5)

Finally, all Charbens finished. Simple block colour scheme, matt varnish, then gloss varnish. The blend in nicely with the other toy soldiers in the wargaming room.

    1. Thanks - although the plastic Charbens figures don;t have much detail compared to a wargaming figure ... so easy paintjob :-)

    1. I "recovered" these Charbens figures from a garage sale ... they were crude (old dirty paintjob, flashlines ... ). But putting them next to my Ceremonal Britains gives them some additional value. Every time I visit London I bring back 1 or 2 Britains toy soldiers from Hamleys or a similar toy shop ... I started doing this 20 years ago, and the collections adds up over the years ...

    1. Been there, done that, several times actually :-) One of my sources for toy soldiers whenever I'm in London ...
