These figures - designed by Jes Goodwin - are one of the Regiments of Renown, boxed sets that were sold for the second (and third) edition of Warhammer during the eighties and early nineties (See also this Realm of Chaos blogpost on the topic).
Using solegends.com as a reference, I found that they were originally released in 1985. They are still listed in the 1988 catalogue, but couldn't yet find a reference beyond that date
