When I played WFB 3rd edition during the late eighties, early nineties, I always wanted to have the Warhammer Fortress. I fell out of love with Warhammer since 4th edition, but the Oldhammer craze has rekindled my interest.
At the Crisis convention this past weekend, I suddenly saw the fortress for sale at one of the trade stands, in quasi-mint condition (including the plastic doors, ladders, etc), at a very reasonable price as well.
Congrats! I wonder why no one has done this again, the foam is light and works so well for modifications, and you'd think it would be relatively cheap to produce in comparison to plastic. Perhaps the initial set up costs are prohibitive.
